I have vacationed up there since before I was born. My mother was a month from my birth up at The Silver Birches (then Ehrhardt's and now back to Silver Birches). That is 40+ years of being at Lake Wally-what? When I was old enough I had no issues with OC or CC. Some resorts prohibit it, but if you are staying in a privately owned house, then you should have no issues.
The lake is owned by PP&L, but I don't believe they have a prohibition either.
