Default Doe license applications accepted July 10th

Resident first round applications accepted Monday, July 10th....in case you didn't know. I will be applying for one and save it for flintlock season. I'm almost out of sausage.

Maybe a day late, but make sure you read all of the regs. It doesn't say it anywhere on the pink envelope or application, but you are allowed only one application in the first round. I got screwed by not doing all of my homework few years ago.

Kind of annoying that they make it area specific when I have no idea where I'll be able to hunt.

I wish they'd get out of the 18th century, get rid of those stupid pink envelopes, and go to the internet like everybody else.

And quit dicking people over with individual tags and extra permits for this, that, and the other. ONE FREAKING LICENSE, $30, AND BE DONE WITH IT!! And two months for rifle deer season, not this pathetic two weeks. Other states can do it just fine, so should we. Quit trying to be New York.
