    Is it legal for anyone to purchase a silencer for a handgun in Pennsylvania?

    Welcome to the forum.

    Anyone who can pass a PICS/NICS check can typically purchase and possess a silencer/suppressor. However, I am not familiar with the process outlined by the BATFE to purchase one.

    I've moved this thread to the NFA/Class 3/Title II thread, as a silencer/suppressor falls into this category. Take a look here as there are other threads which describe the process.
