Just for information; what is the jurisdiction of New York along this route as regards firearms?

The state line generally follows the center line of the river. The flow channel, however, bounces back and forth depending on the stretch. Fishing licenses are reciprocal on either shoreline and on the islands. I believe that hunting licenses are reciprocal as well. From what I've been told, reciprocity does not extend to sidearms for personal carry. You cross mid-channel with a pistol and you are subject to badness the same as if you were to drive to Albany with a Glock in your waistband. The river is one of the few places that you will catch me sans pistola.

Last few days to register. River conditions look beautiful! I'll be making a quick reconnoiter of the river tomorrow a.m. to see what's changed in the last month. The gravel bars should be well vegetated by now.

So there's some fiber with the minerals? Are you supplying the caramel, or should the people bring their own?

If you want caramel, you'll have to extract sugar from the honeysuckle, then heat it slowly until it caramelizes.

Is that part of the class, cause that might change my idea of attending.

It went well. The weather was on the cooler side of perfect and the water levels were perfect as well considering the time of year. Lots of islands and point bars to explore and lots of groovy plants. We also say MANY bald eagles, herons, mergansers and a great egret, which is unusual for the area.

This was the area where we rallied before getting shuttled.
