3 weeks and counting.
My Mark lV has been recalled.
Waiting 3 weeks for them to issue pick up.
So far all I have is an overpriced paper weight.I'd rather have a gun in my hand then a cop on the phone.

Well, it might take a while as it is being done on a first come, first served basis and there are a lot of Mark IV's out there. According to Ruger, once you do the recall paperwork, your gun goes into the queue and when it comes and and they have the required repair parts they will send you a shipping box with the shipping label. You then box up the grip frame (only) and give it to whoever is on the shipping label (UPS or FedEX). Once it is done they will ship it back to you.

Back in March I was going to buy a Mark VI 22/45. Then I decided to buy a M&P 22 Compact, which I really like. I feel like I dodged a bullet.
