Well, I went to Walmart yesterday and picked up two small cans of the CLP BreakFree. I cleaned both the .38 and the 9mm, but I just used the Hopps No.9 solvent and Hopps oil I still have left. I figured since they haven't been shot yet, I'd wait to use the BreakFree.

The new 9mm wasn't too bad to clean. The slide is easiest just using an old toothbrush and Q-tips. I think the hardest part for me is cleaning the frame. Getting in all those little nooks and crannies (like Thomas's English Muffins) and little parts. How do you guys clean your frames? If you use the CLP, do you spray the whole thing down or just spot clean it where needed and then oil? This frame is polymer, does that make a difference as to how you clean it? I've never had a polymer framed gun before.

A old boy friend I was living with was a cop. One day he came home covered with mud from wrestling someone in a marsh. His gun was packed with mud. He dropped his gun and belt on the floor and went to shower. As he was coming out from his shower he noticed his gun belt missing from the floor. (Like I was going to leave it to be tripped over)

He called out to me where was his gun and gun belt. Since the washing machine was running I called back that it was in the washer since it needed cleaning. You should have seen his panicked look as he ran to the utility room.

I notice you said "WAS living with".

Just kidding, I like to mess with people too. It's fun when your comeback is so quick and solemn that they think you're serious.
