Default New PA resident with Colorado carry permit

I am a resident of PA now but I read that my Colorado carry permit is legal here until it runs out. Does anyone know if this is true or do I need to go ahead and get a PA permit ?

    Thanks

Under the 2013 McKown Superior Court decision, Pa residents can only use a PA LTCF in Pa. Your CO CCW does not suffice as a substitute.

Most hopefully, as a new resident, you've got your driver's license changed over. You've got 60 days to do that.

If that's already done, pay a visit to the Lycoming County Sheriff's Office in Williamsport (http://www.lyco.org/Elected-Official...rearms-Section) to get your Pa. license. According to the website, you can fill it out on-line (you may have to print it out and bring it in). Sorry, no training or letters of recommendation required, nor fingerprints, nor a blood sample, nor a list of handguns you may either have or wish to obtain.

I'm just glad I could help.

Welcome to PA, and to PAFOA.
Please register to vote, and please vote every year.
You can find candidate information on PAFOA before every election.

Actually you will find a link to FOAC voter information. They are cousins of a sort.

Yes, you will find links on PAFOA to FOAC and other pro-gun voter information groups.

    ^^^ this^^^

Sheriff Lusk is a good guy. You'll be in and out in @ 20 minutes, depending on how long the line is. Remember to leave your cell phone in the car, the court house won't allow them. You can easily check in a firearm though. Just tell security before you get to the metal detector.
