    Happy wife=happy life.

If you buy another one now, it'll be like you paid $475 each.

I submitted mine 3 weeks ago and haven't heard anything yet either. But the rebate program is open until month end so maybe they are waiting to process everything at once...wishful thinking right.

I would never buy a thing which has a rebate attached to it. Too many issues with submitting properly and then having to wait forever to receive it.

Why should I have to work to buy something from them? Seems it should be the other way around.

As long as it has all the require information on the "postcard" it is legal. I've received rebates in that form over the years and never had a problem.

Side note, a LEO client of mine got the Shield in .45 with the manual safety. Came over to do the paperwork and he found, while checking it out that it would fire while "ON SAFE" (or OFF SAFE). He had problems in the past with some S&W's and had the S&W customer service # on his phone and called them from my shop. Customer Service said to process the rebate form and then call them and they would send a shipping label to him to send it back, never had a round fired from it and it has to go back. Kind of sours me on S&W.

A lot of rebates and class action settlements come as post cards, you won't have a problem with cashing it.

First world problem. When I checked on my order the other day. on the top of the page in a red banner. FIREARM SHIPPING DELAY: Please expect a delay up to 10 business days for your firearm order to ship.

I just looked and mine said shipped. No tracking info from them yet. I ordered on the 26th.

Edit: Got tracking info. Should be here Monday.

This is true! The last $4.75 settlement check I got from some million dollar class action came that way.
