Wondering if there are there any good sites out there made purely for free image hosting? Well, you're in luck!

We spend a lot of our time pushing information around online and sharing stuff with our friends, and with an evolving web that's increasingly becoming more visual thanks to mobile browsing, free image hosting is basically a must-have these days.

Sometimes, however, a Facebook album or an Instagram post isn't exactly the best solution. Here are 10 of the best sites that offer free image hosting and make the process of uploading and sharing your images easier than ever.

I like imgbb because you can create albums and easily get the BB code to insert only the image instead of posting an image with a link directly to your host site. Maybe the others can do that as well.

That's why I had used Photobucket, but had to change because I can't get past their ad page half the time anymore.

I just received the notice from PB that they busted me for using their site for 3rd party posting even though I always thought that was a reason they existed.

I set up an account at PostImage.
    Now, the fun part.
The fact that I am literally IT stupid means I'm asking for a step by step procedure to download from PB (where do they go? and how do I find them) to upload them to PostImage?

Even a google link to do that would help but I usually click on something that craps me up completely and I give up easily.

Do I need to download 1 pic at a time to some file in my documents or can I send them to a flash drive and then upload them.

Life is confusing. IT is worse. Stupidity in IT today sucks ass.

    Good question.
I keep seeing people talking about downloading all their Photobucket albums but I don't know how to do it either.

I suspect it would take weeks because I have thousands of photos there over the course of three accounts.

Also, Postimage is "OK", but it's not at all a "replacement" for Photobucket since it lacks organizational folders and the like.
You can create a gallery, but no sub folders.
Also, they limit the size of files you can upload there. I tried uploading 5 photos all taken of the same image and one would not upload due to it "exceeding the file size allowed".
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Yes, it's not making sense, if you look at the links they provide for each photo what else would you use the [ IMG ] link for?

I haven't gotten the notice yet but have been downloading albums, very slow process, although I think I still have all my photo's on my PC or one of many external hard drives. When I load an album there is a download album link as seen below.

I'm curious, for the folks who have gotten the notice, are you using the completely free photobucket?
