Years ago, Applegate trained his troops in certain CQB techniques that are still used. I read his book. Depending on what kind of info a guy is looking for, the book has some good stuff in it.....

I know who Fairbairn was, but I don't remember ever reading any of his books. I have read 'articles' in which he is given the credits. And Applegate's book may give alot of credit to Fairbairn. Maybe even picked some Fairbairn stuff up from Cooper's writings...

That's awesome, I have been working with Applegates techniques for a long time now and one called quick kill. I can't get enough og it. I'm addicted to it.

Applegate does indeed mention Fairbairn in his writings. He received much of his pistol training from Fairbairn and Sykes

What's up with "two" people from Arizona flooding the forum with threads and posts about "techniques"?

    Seems a bit odd.
