I've done a similar video but instead of under the arm I draw and swing my arm straight back unleashing molten fury. First round groin and up. Five finger death punch style.

Man, I've had to take at least 5 condition 2 ' s today. My stomach sounds like chewbacca.

This thread inspired me to shoot my 1911 yesterday. I'm trying to figure out why my slide smashes the shell on the last round sometimes. Not mag dependant and I tried tightening the extractor. It's now throwing brass about 8 ft back and to the right.

    It's because it's a 1911, that's normal. If you had a glock, it wouldn't do that.

Are you saying it does not lock back and smashes, or that it dents as it ejects?

Last round, sometimes it doesn't lock back and smashes the case. Usually it ejects and just drops at my feet, occasionally it sticks in the gun. I read it's usually caused by not enough tension on the extractor. With no round pushing up on it, i guess it drops down slightly and gets smashed.
I'm going to mess with later next week.

Any other things to look at? BTW, It's a Springfield Loaded model.

Maybe this can help with diagnosis?
