Re: Harrisburg gun show june 17th &18th $10.00 c&e gun shows
One minute in and first purchase. Star star fire to go along with my iver Johnson pony and my fie. $175 in great shape - sweet. Decent crowd to start. Several vendors tables still covered - will give my thoughts in a bit in case anyone is considering. But there's no bad day at a gun show

Show overall was ok. Would I travel an hour + , probably not but I got some deals. Missed out on a nice engraved llama 22 revolver because I didn't jump on it right away. Was a great price too. Kept hesitating on a beretta 1934 7.65 with plexiglass grips for $129. Finish worn which I could have dealt with but safety didn't look original so I passed. Some deals on SIG 2022 40 cal for $330 I think it was. Scotsguard had some nice S&W and other stuff - stopped by to say hi.
I passed on a Ruger Security Six at $275 too - should have got it. It was a bit worn and had a chip in one grip, but overall good shape. Lots of M57 and the like Tokarev's available along with P83's. Must have been a small dump of Colt AR SP-1's because several had them ranging from $1,200-$1,400. Guy was there making custom kydex holsters while you wait from your choice of designs, hadn't seen him before. Was real close to a browning hi power too for $429 but wasn't totally sold on it.Last edited by cruzans; June 17th, 2017 at 02:06 PM.

Re: Harrisburg gun show june 17th &18th $10.00 c&e gun shows
Went with my supervisor from work, we spent a couple hours there. AR prices and other modern guns were priced reasonable, you just had to look around to find the lowest price and avoid the guys trying to sell to the uninformed. My buddy was looking for some name brand slings for his AR, couldn't find any. I was ready to buy a semi 22 rifle with threaded barrel, pickings were slim and I found nothing. Picked up a 300 blk die set, powder, and primers at a good price. We were also ready to buy some name brand red dots, but prices for them were high at the show. There was a lot of Chinese AR parts mixed in on all the tables, more Chinese than milsurp or name brand, so buyer beware. Probably wont be back to the HBG show for a few more years unless someone drags me there. I prefer the one at the York Fairgrounds if I had to choose.
