Default No semi-auto rimfire for special regulations area?

Looks like those of us who hunt small Game in Special Regulations Area will still be restricted to manually operated rimfire.
Also no mention of air powered firearms.

Small Game, Furbearers & Crows, Arms & Ammunition
Manually operated or semiautomatic shotguns plugged to a 3-shell capacity; manually operated 22-caliber or less rimfire rifles and; and bows and crossbows. Buckshot is not permitted.

page 4, , they probably havent changed the text of the special regs area yet. PAGC is so efficient.

Page 4 is general Regulations, Special Regulations is down further. Special Regulation over rides general.

This is why special Regulation can use semi-auto shotgun for deer.

I did send off an email to the game Commission asking if it's a typo. Other typo was, last year it mentions manually operated handgun, this new digest has no mention of handgun.

Actually the "general" statement without caveat should override, its a "New " policy and without a qualifying "Except in special regulations areas" it may be assumed that the PAGC just has not updated the SRA sections yet.
Also We have been "allowed " to use Semis in SRA for deer for decades.
Like I said the PAGC is sooo efficient. And the rules are crystal clear /sarc.

Ok, I get you now. Thank you. I'll just have to wait and see if they update the new digest.
