303 outpatient
If a 303 hearing takes place and it becomes outpatient, is this still qualified as a 303 commitment? Also if a 302 is found to be insufficient, would that also dismiss a 303 if it is a 303 commitment if it is outpatient?

Think about lawyering up.
And don't discuss anything on this public venue/forum.
There are indeed a few great lawyers on this forum, and others elsewhere.
The free advice you receive on a forum is probably worth as much as you paid for it - ummm, not much.
Hope things work out for you...- bamboomaster

Yeah, you may as well be asking legal advice about drilling for oil in Nova Scotia.
It's a gun forum, not a mental health care/physicians forum.
Your recent questions seem to tread a bit further into the legal department than the usual "302 questions".I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Re: 303 outpatient
Well how do you find anything out unless you don't ask questions?

Re: 303 outpatient
I won't mention anything about a 302 or any other kind of shit about it then. Thanks.

Re: 303 outpatient
I'm simply pointing out that it's highly unlikely that a non-lawyer or non-physician will be able to answer the very complex question you are asking.
If you feel the need to be offended, that's on you. Stay, leave, I don't care.
I do wish you luck though - it's a shitty situation that takes years, lawyers, and lots of money to resolve.Last edited by Emptymag; June 12th, 2017 at 10:50 PM. Reason: typo

Re: 303 outpatient
Being a Pysch nurse I can give you a general answer. You have to be committed on 302 before the physician asks for a 303. The 303 is a continuation of treatment whether it be outpatient or inpatient. If a 302 is deemed insufficient It would not proceed to a 303 that being the next step. The best answer is ALWAYS sign in voluntary, sometimes unfortunately you do not have the option but if you do, then by all means take it. Once a 302 or further commitments are on record, your done, unless you have deep pockets and can get it expunged.
