you mean adding like a red dot or just using iron sights?

I have a pair of magpul mbus sights for it right now. will go with a red dot at some point. just don't know which right now. I'm thinking something compact, sort of like the Burris Fastfire III -

Cool. I have eotech, aimpoint, and Cmore sights. If u like scopes aimpoint is ok. Heads up display eotech is ok. I like the Cmore rail sight a little better because of the thickness of the window frame of the red dot glass. Now Cmore makes different stuff. The only problem with these sights are the price tags that follow. For the fun of it I bought some Chinese 100.00 sights and I had a bad experience. Some times it would change colors on its own, and the ruggedness of it was junk. Just my experiences here

I like the look of round handguards, like this one - http://www.joeboboutfitters.com/Midw...ilblack-g3.htm
But I'd rather have m-lok sections instead of adding picatinny rails. Can you buy rail sections that are m-lok instead of picatinny?

Does anyone know of a round 9" handguard with m-lok slots? ALG has one that I like but the shortest they have is 10" and that's going to be too long for what I want.
I also want to keep the cost down, so like around $150 or less.

If I can't find a round one, my next choice is this one - https://www.joeboboutfitters.com/Mid...m?1=1&CartID=1

Is that granite ridge a reputable company?

regarding the kak flash can, the KAK site says to torque down to the barrel, don't use a crush washer. Only use the crush washer if you need to adjust timing.
the flash can has 2 small slots opposite each other on the outside of the can. When screwed all the way down, they are at the 10 and 4 o clock position. I want them to be even on the sides, like 3 and 9 o clock position.
The barrel thread is 1/2x36, so do I need to find shims or crush washers that are 1/2x36 or will any 1/2" shim or crush washer work?
Is it the just trial and error until you get the timing where you want it?
it really seems like I would just need a very thin shim.

Granite Ridge is a good vendor. Fast too.

Look at my pistol thread. Tons of pics of the Aero handguard.
Its nice, but it's bigger around than ALG.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!
