I've been there twice and shot once. Bought a S&W 642 and the guy let me shoot a box down range. Came back a year later and asked if I could shoot a 10/22 with my son and they said no new shooters...some reason they gave. So I just went to Warwick the next weekend. They seemed much more uptight that time. They're in an area right after deep West Philly ends. If you're driving east on Baltimore and Pass the Giant on the right all of the sudden no one uses the crosswalk.

I recently saw a sign for an inside gun range just off Spring Garden and maybe 12th or 13th streets in Philly. Anyone know of it or was it just an old sign? Not the best of neighborhoods right there.

I went here for the first time last Friday. The range itself was great, clean, in excellent shape. They had no issues with bringing outside ammo, just asked me not to use steel cased. The only issue I had, had nothing to do with the range. The traffic in that area was horrendous, I would rather travel farther than be stuck in the stop and go traffic at that end of Baltimore pike. It might have just been the time or day I went so YMMV.

The traffic is not only on "that end" of Baltimore Pk.. On the western end, housing developments and shopping centers have been built, and the political hacks have not lifted a finger to improve the roads despite having the highest gas tax in the country.

Double Action robbed of 22 guns after critters cut through the roof with a circular saw. Report says range is in Upper Darby...it's in Yeadon so far as I know. Must be a zip code thing...
