    Default Double Action in Yeadon

It's small range in Yeadon, but it is a great indoor range for shotgun, pistol, and low caliber rifles. If you are a member, they will let you shoot AR's. My wife and I go there often and the folks are nice.
One warning, do NOT wear baggy pants or look like a hood. They will flag you and ask you to leave. Of course, I never had this problem.
    Unfortunately, there are no gunsmiths

Double Action is my default range to go to, as its the closest. Mike, the owner, is a great guy. As is the other staff I have interacted with, most being local cops. I've been slacking and need to get in there again soon.

They occasionally post specials and classes on their Facebook page.

Can you bring in your own ammunition? How about hand loads?

In my experience, if you buy some you can also use your own without any raised eyebrows. Good guy, retired cop. Have even shot next to Philly cops who didn't seem to balk at the concept of armed civilians.

ETA: Though don't know about hand loads.

When last I was there, they didn't permit outside ammo.

No, you have to purchase ammo there. I have never come across an outdoor range that does not have this requirement in the area. Delaware County Field and Stream in Media is another range in the area that is an open door range. They have no ammunition sales, so you have to bring your own ammo. In fact, there are no target, ammo, or any accessory sales there.
DCFS are very restrictive on how many rounds one is allowed to load at one time (5 at a time max). Silhouette targets are not permitted.
DCFS does allow high powered firing and have wonderful skeet and trap ranges. They have an awesome bow range.

Delaware County Field and Stream sells targets and clays there at the office. And you can bring your own ammo to Targetmaster as long as it is brass.
