Target World, Clayton's, and French Creek Outfitters (all indoor ranges) all allow you to bring in your own ammo (Brass or Aluminum, no Steel).

29 miles, 45 minute drive. Not to far. Distance wasnt a consideration.
Anyway... I was more concerned with the "no outside ammo" comment.

Double Action used to enforce that you could only use their ammo but they have backed off that recently. Last few times there I bought a box or two there to be nice and shot it plus my own and they were fine with that. Nice little local range, we are lucky to have it.

Yes you can bring your own ammo, but I also buy their ammo. I've never had an issue.

I won't go to a place where you have to buy their ammo. Over priced

Target master, DVSC and classic pistol allow you to shoot your own ammo.

I need a place that accepts my baggy pants and hood like appearance.

FYI, regarding bringing your own ammo, I found this response from the owner to a google comment.
Not true. You can Bring full metal jacket brass factory ammo for pistols. You only have to buy our 223/556 because the ammo is set up for our bullet trap. Hope you enjoyed your stay.

I would not mind having to buy my ammo at the range (after all, McDonalds makes their $$$ from fries and cokes, not Big Macs). However, if they don't sell .38 special full wad cutters, I'm not interested.

My experience with the range/shop was many years ago. I purchased a year membership and spoke to the owner regarding bringing in outside ammo. He stated that he was OK with that, but no reloads. I agreed and shot there for 10 months using outside ammo. On one of my visits after that time period, the same owner who gave me the OK jumped all over me regarding bringing in outside ammo. He said something to the effect of insurance regulations, which was BS due to the fact that his weekly competitive shooters were able to bring in outside ammo.

After the incident I returned to the facility when the owner was not present and spoke to one of his employees. This counter individual stated that his employer tended to have a short memory with inconsistent policies, depending on the mood of the day. Needless to say, I did not renew my membership
