I've been to this show before and found great deals on ammo. I was less than impressed by the table selling all the Nazi memorabilia (this was a number of years ago.) Lots of shows ban that now, any idea if this show still allows it?

I don't believe the promoter has such rules, but the old lady who had much of that stuff has since passed away. You'll see a mix of stuff, and some of the vendors only do this show.

I went to this show when my youngest attended college in the LV, and I always liked the stale beer and old fryer oil odor of the place. It took me back to a place my folks took us kids for fish fries when I was a kid.

I did find some unique items a couple times.

Abner - please try to help make a gun show successful when posting. Yeah, it's not Oaks or Allentown Agriplex, but it's a show. The vendors need people and the people need vendors. If we promote it, it will improve. There are some small-time vendors there with some interesting guns and related stuff (oddball ammo, magazines, bayonets, more), plus some FFL dealers. It's also the longest continuously running show in Pennsylvania. It's a $6 admission, and the promoter often admits those who sign up for an NRA membership at no additional cost.

Again, you never know what kind of deal you'll find. Bring ca$h - most dealers there don't accept plastic, but they'll deal with you, too. Bring stuff to trade or sell if you like. If you have a lot of stuff to sell, consider getting a table (tables here are $45 for the weekend - tables at Oaks are $80 or so).

Been going to this show for probably 20yrs. I know half the vendors. The stuff never changes. I stand by my assessment.

I'm inclined to agree with Bob here. No pickles, no jerky...t-shirts, junk imported knives, difficult parking, long lines, or B.S.ers blocking the aisles and tables. I've made some very satisfactory buys here over the years on used guns, scopes, and a few other things. I prefer smaller shows, and they're great if you want to negotiate a bargain without a lot of competition or just want to get out of the house for an hour or two. If I thought pickles and jerky were important I'd go to the Q-Mart.

It is a small show and doesn't have the greatest selection but I still go. I like the small shows.

I picked up an NOS '03 Springfield complete rear sight and a handguard for $35 a while back.

Thanks, Sauconian and RockIsland, for the "good side" of the small shows.

Yes, Abner, at a glance the show looks the same every time. It's a small show. I'm a regular vendor there. I have some used guns, scopes, parts, ammo, and random stuff. I have a few rifles/shotguns that I've had a while, but many haven't been there before. Our setup looks the same show-to-show, but the stuff out there changes. That's the idea - BUY - SELL - TRADE. We need people to make that happen, and more people will draw more vendors. Hope to see you all, including Abner, there (I could bring you a pickle if I remember, but it won't be as good as Peter Piper's). The vendors and promoter thank you for your support.
