    Default 1911 in 308

Hmmm, do I need it. Well, need is such a subjective term. Wonder what a 1911 chambered in 308 is like to shoot And it's built on a Llama lower - must be a sign, lol.

Damn. I'm not sure I could pull the trigger on that thing with it in front of my face. Looks scary as hell.

You want a 308 handgun, get a Thompson Center.

It a Pachmayr "Dominator" conversion for a 1911. If a person reloaded, it would be a fun toy plinking with 10-12 grains of Unique under a 150 to 168 gr bullet. Little recoil, great accuracy at 25-50 yds.

Having fired a Contender in 308, I CANNOT imagine firing full-house 308s in a 1911-gripped handgun. That narrow backstrap will by painful, and the high bore axis will yield scads of muzzle flip.

10-12 gr of Unique --- it might be a cool plinker (ONLY IF one reloaded . . . )

Fired one in 7mm Bench Rest it was not the 7BR that I purchased. Bought a XP-100 7BR Remington, 45 rd match was interesting enough with it. Pac. brought them out to compete with TC and Remington for the long range steel games. Don't think they sold many if they did it was not around here.
