A great firearms store to visit in Myrtle Beach
For the last seven years we have vacationed in Myrtle Beach, S.C., The
first week after Labor Day weekend. There is a Great, and I mean that
sincerely. Not only a great shop for firearms, but an extra added feature
of a six lane indoor range. Plenty of "Rental Firearms". with some of the
latest models out there to be tried. "Myrtle Beach Indoor Shooting Range,
Inc.", 4857 Hwy 17 Bypass. Now for a little extra added attraction. The
owner Ted, has been a Civil War Collector for many years. The collection
is built around the Confederate Gunboat, CCS PEDEE. The exhibit includes
currency, uniforms, edged weapons, firearms, flags, letters, journals, books,
newspapers, belt buckles and more Civil War History. This is all at the same
bussiness location. My wife was even impressed with the place as well as
the ladies and gentlemen who work there. They are friendly, enjoyable to
talk with and give a meaning to "Southern Hospitality". Before I forget, the
owner, Ted L. Gragg, is a published author. The title of the book is "PUMA".
The story about this great cat in the wilds of S.C. . Needless to say, If it
rains, the women head to the outlets and you will know where I can be
found.

Re: A great firearms store to visit in Myrtle Beach
So as long as there is a website they MUST still be in business. I've heard of those that believe everything they read online but you're the first one I have met.
I asked because it would not be the first time I went to check out a gun shop (with an active web site) to find out the store was no longer in business.
I can even give you a local example. Ken's Guns is still advertising. Ken had a stroke. Ken isn't in business anymore.
So... the simple answer appears to be you don't know. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Re: A great firearms store to visit in Myrtle Beach
Let me rephrase my question... Has anyone been to Myrtle Beach Indoor Shooting Range recently? How are the prices? I am primarily interested in milsurp and milsurp ammo. In your opinion would it be worth a 25 mile drive (probably an hour or more in summer traffic) one way?
