Don't feel bad Hawk, the other club I belong to is closed until 1pm on Sunday year round.

I think it's time to vote these asshats off the board. Closing a gun club for half a day on a weekend is beyond stupid.

If that was the case they'd need to include Friday evening through Saturday evening and 5 times a day for the Jewish and Muslim practitioners.

Church is the reason at the other club I belong to, but not PMSC where they are closing it 1 Sunday a month for work parties.

I hear ya Hawk but you know how hard it is to get volunteers to do all the work, let alone on a weekday. I do think it could have been handled better, no reason to close the entire club when I doubt that work will be taking place on all ranges at the same time.

Exactly! Close only the ranges that are scheduled to be worked on that Sunday. I suspect they are closing all the ranges to attempt to suck in the unsuspecting members who show up to shoot into a work detail.
I'd hate to be the member that has to tell another member (that drove out for an hour at 9AM) that they can't shoot until 12:30.

I suspect they won't get anyone to show up. I also suspect that this new policy won't survive more than 2 months once they hear the complaints and see that no one shows up.

They can do it three ways, the members can do the work or the club can raise the dues and pay outside labor. Or the member can pay to get off the work party. Handicapped and old age can be exempted. But the targets will be maintained and the grass will be cut.
