I've been doing a little reading and saw that Ruger makes an LCR cut for moon rings in 9mm. I don't expect to find one locally but if I can order one I think that's the way to go. This way I can keep buying 9mm and not have to also buy 38Spl which can be a little pricey depending on where you're at.

Say what you will, but my Taurus 85UL is light weight and I've run 100+Ps out of it as well as a hundred or so LRN target rounds through it without a hitch.

I have been carring a Ruger LCR in a Galco "Ankle glove" for years.... Sometimes I have to give it a quick pat to make sure it is still there.... It is that comfortable!

Ankle carry... check out the Taurus "no view" or VIEW, 5-shot in 38 special... super small and perfect for that POU.

9oz!! also called the Taurus 85VTA

Load it up with some Hornady Critical Defense Lite, .38 Special, FTX, 90 Grain girly rounds

Pretty sure that failure has been discontinued.
Probably some for sale out there still though.

The regular UL handles +p's and weights about twice as much when loaded.

the only failure was the lexan panel - which was later recalled and why it went from the "View" to the "No View".
i have one that i picked up factory refurbished for a very good price and have zero complaints for its intended purpose - which is ultra deep concealment or BUG.
i tuck it in an uncle mike's 36, which folds nicely in the areas unused - and i literally am unaware that it is IWB.
and for less than $200, i have no complaints...

The 9 is heavier due to steel instead of aluminum in the frame module, easier to shoot because of the weight then the 38. I had to dremel the moon clips to fit. Others I bought didn't need it. The outside diameter didn't fit in the cut out. The cylinder was tight as hell, then I figured out why. Quick fix.

Just like the curve, I was interested until I handled it, then I found them to be dissapointingly manufactured. Below Keltec in quality. Worse, the reputation of customer service is poor.
