We stopped at the range on the way to dinner tonight. I have always preached the 9mm, but the .45 is now my favorite carry gun. Because I screwed up my finger two weeks ago I have been practicing off hand a lot. I was all over the bullseye area. While there, another person had the 9mm shield and let me try it. It did nothing to make the $200 shield less tempting. But I like the .45 enough that I will hold out and hope that comes down in price before the rebate is up on the 30TH.

Funny how easy it is to become spoiled. A month ago I would have jumped at the chance for a $250 .45 shield. Now I feel like I am paying too much if I buy it at that price. 3 months from now I will probably be lamenting that I did not get another at $250.

Count me in on this. What a great deal, likely one of the best I've ever seen. I picked one up at my local LGS a few weeks ago, been carrying daily in my Keepers Concealment Errand holster, what a fantastic setup.

Tomorrow I'll be at my LGS with my GF's step-dad, he is buying one now too since he likes mine so much!

I keep refreshing the PSA page hoping to see "OUT OF STOCK" before I change my mind about being responsible.

I've said to my wife that she does not understand the struggle I am having right now. The fact that I do not have a 9mm shield yet is a bit of a minor miracle.

Explain that it's sort of like going to Macy's and learning that women's shoes are buy one, get four free.
Even if you don't NEED four pair, it's just stupid to pass it up!
