ALL it specifies on the mail-in form is Step 2 - "Enclose a Dated Sales Receipt with Store Name".
It does not specify what type of receipt.
A shipping invoice that came in the box? A printout of the emailed order/shipping info?
Do I need to drive to PSA and ask for a register receipt?I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Re: S&W Shield...consider me a fan.
When I did my Browning shotgun rebate online, I just attached screenshots of my order confirmation from Sportman's Guide, filled in the serial number and that was it.

My receipt from Palmetto did not have the serial number on it. I just filled out the online form and put the serial number in. I took a picture of the receipt and attached according to the instructions. Now it's just wait and see. I'll be on the warpath if there is a problem. I see people are starting to get their rebates.

I emailed PSA asking what I should use for the receipt and got this response from them:
Hello,
You should only need the email that you received at the time of purchase.

Re: S&W Shield...consider me a fan.
So I got mine on Monday. Took it out yesterday and found it... disappointing. I took my Ruger LC9s Pro and S&W Shield 9mm both for comparison, and I found the trigger pull much harder on the Shield, and my groups were spread apart more than I could achieve with just about anything else I own. It could be "beginners" training, so I'm not giving up yet, but the very heavy pull and poor grouping doesn't have me sold yet.
It also came new in the box with a bent base on the recoil spring. Called S&W and they're shipping me a new one. Maybe I'll have better luck on my next try."A nation of sheep will beget a government of wolves." ― Edward R. Murrow
