    That's comforting.

I thought you could submit it online? If so, how would you provide an "original receipt"?

(I have not submitted mine yet)

You are correct, they do have a "Online Submission" link, which is how I submitted after scanning the required documents.

*I received an email from S&W stating how popular the rebate program is and I should expect to see my rebate around the end of July.

ALL it specifies on the mail-in form is Step 2 - "Enclose a Dated Sales Receipt with Store Name".

It does not specify what type of receipt.

A shipping invoice that came in the box? A printout of the emailed order/shipping info?
Do I need to drive to PSA and ask for a register receipt?

When I did my Browning shotgun rebate online, I just attached screenshots of my order confirmation from Sportman's Guide, filled in the serial number and that was it.

My receipt from Palmetto did not have the serial number on it. I just filled out the online form and put the serial number in. I took a picture of the receipt and attached according to the instructions. Now it's just wait and see. I'll be on the warpath if there is a problem. I see people are starting to get their rebates.

    Emptymag -

I emailed PSA asking what I should use for the receipt and got this response from them:

    Hello,

You should only need the email that you received at the time of purchase.
This is what I did and it seems to have worked. At least I've not heard back from the rebate people telling me it is insufficient. The only thing I've gotten from them is that apology email about the delays stating that I should see my rebate by the end of July.

So I got mine on Monday. Took it out yesterday and found it... disappointing. I took my Ruger LC9s Pro and S&W Shield 9mm both for comparison, and I found the trigger pull much harder on the Shield, and my groups were spread apart more than I could achieve with just about anything else I own. It could be "beginners" training, so I'm not giving up yet, but the very heavy pull and poor grouping doesn't have me sold yet.

It also came new in the box with a bent base on the recoil spring. Called S&W and they're shipping me a new one. Maybe I'll have better luck on my next try.
