Date of Manufacture of Your Shield: How to determine
So I just picked up a Shield9 and it didn't come with any paperwork that you get with a brand new one or a box/case.
Besides giving S&W a call or e-mailing them, is there any other way of finding out the date of manufacture?Last edited by PA1936MN; May 24th, 2017 at 03:33 PM.

Did you Google the serial number, or at least Shield serial numbers in general?

P. S. My Shield has a barcode on the right side behind the trigger. Its the kind that you can scan with your phone. I never tried it. Maybe there is something you can find and do with yours.

tickle it's trigger, 100% sure way to get it to pop. but keep in mind it's no more than 13...so that's kinda creepy.
