    Default Ammo Sales

I have a PA. Non Resident pistol permit. My legal mailing address is in NY. Does anyone know if I will have an issue purchasing 9mm ammo in Monroe County? Sometimes they can be a little freaky.

Don't need an ID to purchase ammo in PA. Is Monroe different?

To the best of my knowledge, no residency requirements to buy ammo.

There is no residency requirement in Pa. BUT, some large retail chains close to restrictive states sometimes ask for an id (even though it is not required). If you live in a shithole state they won't sell it to you. Even though it is legal for you to purchase ammo here.

I hesitate to even mention this here but I first found out about this "rule" shopping at Dicks in Bucks county. This was years BEFORE their black rifle meltdown. Even then I questioned why they wanted an ID and they explained it to me. That was the last time I bought anything from them.
