recommend LPK
I am going to build a 9mm AR and hopefully SBR it eventually.
I got a PSA stripped lower already. Trying to decide what LPK to get. I want to keep price down, but don't want standard or junk LPK. Also not sure which grip I want yet, so one without a grip would be preferable.
Not sure which FCG to go with either.
Was hoping to find a good deal over memorial day, but didn't really see any LPKs on sale.
For grip, I'm looking at the Magpul K2 but have never held one, so not sure I would like that angle or not.
Otherwise might try MOE+ or just the standard MOE.
Any suggestions?

Re: recommend LPK
To be perfectly honest with you, unless you want pins and springs made of some exotic alloy, most LPKs are pretty much the same. I've used PSA and CMMG LPKs in the past and didn't see much difference between them.
As for a trigger -- I've only used the stock trigger in my builds, so I can't provide any input there.
LPKs without a FCG are cheaper, but most will come with a grip of some type. I don't know that I have ever seen a LPK without a grip.
ME, I would get a complete LPK with grip and FCG. Spare parts are not bad to have.Soap Box - Worn out : Ballot Box - Broken : Jury Box - Pending : Ammunition Box - Unknown

Re: recommend LPK
Nicest standard lower parts kit I have used is from CMC triggers (Got it on sale at Primary arms) They offer a kit with no FCG or grip also. Quality is right there with the KNS precision turned parts I usually use. PSA lower kits lower end quality wise in my experience.(and I have several of them) I have gotten PSA parts that I can tell were softer than they should have been, so they were swapped out. I piece my lower parts together for the most part anymore. I have enough cheapo milspec triggers, A2 grips, flat trigger guards, etc. For triggers the lowest I go is the ALG ACT.

Re: recommend LPK
DSG always has LPKs without FCG or grips. I have used a few of them on my builds and they work just fine.

Re: recommend LPK
You can always do a ALG Lower parts kit. Keeping it local and backed by the great customer service of Geissele.

Re: recommend LPK
Palmetto offers this LPK with an ALG QMS trigger with a Magpul MOE grip. Not a bad deal at the regular price since a QMS trigger usually goes for $40-50.
