That's the same point I always make when people talk reciprocity, but it largely gets ignored so....

At least one of the National Reciprocity bills I read (don't recall which) included language to apply the reciprocity to the GFSZA...

These Yangban that currently run the government think of us as commoners and servants to them. Why are we still accepting the false premise that the government has the right to approve or disapprove whether we can buy or carry a gun. If that is the case they have that right why are they not registering journalists so they can write and broadcast government approved news? If we're going to have a Constitution wouldn't it work better if it were respected and followed?
Corruption is the default behavior of government officials. JPC

Other counties have lost a Sheriff, for one reason or another, and they never even considered it an issue in regards to the continued operation of the Sheriff's Office. In this case a county judge had to issue them a "get back to work" order.
    Nonsense.

I received my LTCF in today's mail. Quite a bit quicker than I was expecting. Looks like they tackled the backlog right away.

I'm pretty sure that the clerk did the background check while I was there a couple of weeks ago, when I paid. So, it was just a matter of signing, producing and laminating the card, and mailing it out.

And the signature is probably stored electronically. Print card with signature, and laminate. Quite likely a completely automated procedure. Sheriff deputy hits the print button, picks up completed card and puts in envelope to mail.
