    Default 45acp inside 500 Magnum

So in hindsight this wasn't too smart l. I tumbled 45 ACP cases with 500 Magnum cases and the 45 ACP ended up inside of the of the 500 magnum I don't know how to get it out does anybody have a tip?

Were they deprimed prior to tumbling?

Go buy. Large E-Z Out or screw extractor from your tool store of choice.

If they are completely inside, I would think a sharp rap on a hard surface should dislodge the smaller case.

Try a long needle nose plyers. Open up the jaws gently on the inside of the 45 case and pull out slow. To much outward pressure and you will damage both cases.

just get a kinetic bullet puller and remove it the say way you would a bullet, no need to bugger up the cases.

I can't believe I never thought of this. I have quite a few nested casings. I'll try this today.

Just use a bullet puller. Insert the 500 Mag case, screw down the top, and a couple of nice whacks on the bench should do it...

No, they are not deprimed. I thought I would use the resize decap operation to make sure the flash hole was clear of walnut shell.

The bullet puller. Of course. Thanks everyone! Had a great day shooting yesterday. The weather was perfect, and I shot 50 rounds through the 500 and 150 rounds through my 45.

My mom's passed on, but I still appreciate her. Hope everyone can enjoy the day with family. I think I'll separate those cases tomorrow night.
