    Just another point...

I searched for "Mom's Demand Action" as a charity or a registered fundraiser in PA here: http://www.charities.pa.gov/

The name "Mom's Demand Action for Gun Sense in America" is apparently an ALIAS for "Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund, Inc." which means "Shannon Watts" is just the "face" that many concerned moms may identify with.

Not really any different than why those who like to fish have a tackle-box full of lures and a selection of fish hooks: one "size" doesn't fit all...

Personally, I think it commendable that she can speak extemporaneously and doesn't require a teleprompter.

Possible reasons to have an alias is that you want to seem bigger than you are with a broader base than you actually have, want to target different demographics as possible donors, etc. Basically do whatever it takes to hook that fish and pull it into the net....

Their address of record all track back to the same NY P.O. Box and same phone number. No surprise there...

Seems like these professionals are better nested than an off-shore tax shelter. But good for fundraising, eh?

To keep it on the up and up, they probably have a warehouse full of jockstraps. Smelly, used jockstraps with broken elastic, byt sipporters nonetheless.

She may not draw any salary from the organization, but I'd bet she gets money from the same source that funds them. This is just another astroturf group, a Progressive/Fascist front for people who hate America and all that it stands for, especially individual liberty. They don't do squat to reduce crime or make the innocent safer, they just seek to disarm them.

It's probably true that most spree shootings are not stopped by good guys with guns, but that's because most spree shootings occur in victim disarmament zones created by people like her, so the good guys don't have guns there. It's like bragging that Africa has fewer adverse reactions from childhood immunization shots....because most of the kids are not immunized so they die from the actual diseases instead.

It's not surprising that any anti-American group has trouble among the members. The Left is primarily "anti", they live to oppose and destroy, which is why they never create anything. Even when they THINK that they are creating something good, like Obamacare, it's really just the use of compulsion and redistribution of wealth, which is a destructive process.

Conservatives like freedom, they seek to nurture the creation of new wealth, they want to see a million new businesses thrive, they want to create a bigger and bigger pie for all to benefit from. The Left is essentially pessimistic, they think that wealth is a finite pie that just happens to exist, they don't understand that "the rich" didn't stumble upon a bag of cookies in the woods and try to hoard most of them for themselves; the rich bought the sugar and flour and the oven and they paid some folks to bake those cookies.

The closest analogy on the Right to the Lefty anti groups would be the Pro Life folks who want to ban abortions, which ironically is the process of destroying innocent life. So even the Right-wing anti groups seem to be promoting creation. The Left just wants to stop other people from protecting themselves, from speaking freely, from choosing who they will deal with and how, from holding others accountable for what they do.
