Re: Former and possible future PA resident
The jackass needs to be gone. He is both a moron and a liar. He probably would not have won without the Trump surge. Bloomberg's TV commercial money worked as well for him as it did for Mcginty. Despite their continual support beforehand, CeasefirePA withdrew their support for Toomey and gave it to McGinty. This guy is Military Grade Stupid, and probably even Weapons Grade Stupid. As I stated in a radio interview outside his office in 2013, the people he is pandering to will never, ever vote for a republican.
The chairman of the PA Republican Party is Val Digiorgio. He needs an earful from us. Maybe their office in Harrisburg (just as few blocks from the Capitol) also needs a visit from a few of our kind on 5/22.Boy, I say boy, you're reaching the limits of my medication!

Re: Former and possible future PA resident
I was unaware of a "registry" in PA.
Just the thought of any government registering private property is cause for alarm!
What about firearms legally purchased elsewhere?

I tried to volunteered for jury duty but they wouldn't let me. I guess you have to be selected by using a voodoo doll.

Re: Former and possible future PA resident
What are the property taxes in TN?
PA has asinine property taxes to pay for the crappy education and teacher union pensions.
PA has income tax of 3.07% TN has none that I am aware of.
PA has THE HIGHEST gas tax in the nation.
I bought acreage in NE TN and plan to build asap to gain an average of 7 degrees warmer EVERY DAMN DAY.
I will be trading 84" of annual snow every year for about 7" of snow.
TN does not salt or de-ice its roads, so your vehicle does not die an early corrosion-induced death.
Those are my reasons for planning a big escape.American by BIRTH, Infidel by CHOICE

Pennsylvania has some of the best gun laws in the nation. Don't have any fear of coming back here, stand and fight for your rights with us.
Also, we have the best food... Almost as important.PUT AN ACOG ON IT!

Re: Former and possible future PA resident
Several states recently opened reciprocity with P.A., although they aren't an "easy" reciprocity.
I think with the exception of New England, California and 1 or 2 others, overall the states are relaxing their laws, not the other way around.
P.A. gov Tom Wolff was actually considering permits for trained teachers to carry in schools.
Semi-autos just became legal for hunting.
And suppressors are also probably going to be less restricted.
If anything I think P.A. might leverage more pesonal background sensitive rules. Mental health checks, medication use, etc.
