Remington 870 Safety
I just recently bought a used 12GA. 870 Super Mag. (Sweet deal too, got the shotgun, 3 barrels and 2 extra stocks all for $250)
The only "problem" being that the safety is backwards. That is, it's setup for a left handed shooter. This just won't work for me as I've used 870s my whole life and don't feel I could safely adjust to a backwards safety.
Several questions come to mind:
Can it be safely "reversed"?
If not, will a standard 870 trigger group work in a Super Mag?

A simple Googling of the question brought this up.
Short answer: if mfg after 1986, no, not without additional parts/purchases. Just call Remington and they will get you squared away.I'm only here for the wood c-rings.
