ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Gander Outdoors, formerly known as Gander Mountain, will be reopening in the Williamsport, Pennsylvania market this spring. Not that I found GM to be worth a shit, but after the CEO trashed Trump voters, he can eat shit.

The pricing (especially) and customer service will have to be MUCH improved for me to pull out my wallet and get over the comments made about Trump voters by the Camping World / Gander Outdoors CEO.

The new CEO/Camping World CEO
CW sucks anyway. Their prices are high, and there isn't anything they sell that cannot be had elsewhere. Same with GM. Not to mention CW is more in the business of gathering and selling consumer information then selling camping equipment.Last edited by God's Country; January 28th, 2018 at 11:31 AM.

Re: Gander Mountain Going Out of Business - NATIONWIDE
They've been constructing the new store front on the Dickson City store. Personally, I'm looking forward to having them open back up. Right now the only other option around here is Field and Stream (Dicks) and, aside from the "F@*# Dicks" campaign, their outdoor gear is either poorly designed and manufactured crap or extremely overpriced outdoor clothing. There is no middle ground. The only other option is to make a day trip to Cabelas and I'm not going to do that if I only need an item that will cost less than the gas to drive there.
Gander at least provides an option. We'll have to see what they have to offer.Sed ego sum homo indomitus
