Re: Gander Mountain Going Out of Business - NATIONWIDE
In my area smaller businesses like Wallenpaupack Sport Shop and Hunters Gallery offer the best prices on guns. As much as you guys hate Dicks their firearms are competitively priced. You can find deals at WalMart as well. I never bought anything from Gander Mountain though.

According to their ads, they aren't competitive anyway even if they weren't dirty cock gobblers.

Re: Gander Mountain Going Out of Business - NATIONWIDE
I stopped at the Muncy, PA store yesterday. Clearance sale my ass. 5% off firearms, 10-15% off most other stuff. Even with the slight "sale" prices, they're still higher than most other places in the area and way more than online. Only real deal was 20% off black powder stuff. Picked up some caps and powder for cheaper than shipped prices online. Round balls came out @ a push so I bought a few hundred also. Unless they do something more drastic, they're not going to move anything. The parking lot was virtually empty and the only people other than me buying anything were using up gift cards while they still could.

I went to the Washington store today. The SigP938 was gone so I saved whatever the inflated sale price was.
I did score the last Bushnell trophy cam trail cam at 40 % off dropping it from 199 to 119. I also bought 2 pieces of furniture. Clothes racks. Welded stainless steel and adjustable from 4 feet to about 6 feet. These were 25 with a buy one get one free. 12.50 each. Not bad.
One goes to camp. One for garage.

Opinions are like anal apertures. They all stink but mine.

Once the store closes the "liquidators" step in. That's when the real discounts will happen. Does anybody know if they will also sell the firearms?
