I don't know the bankruptcy strategy/status/legal structure but one explanation might be they are getting rid of highly desirable locations that can be sold fast to entirely different businesses and keeping the dead weight for the resale and settlement.

Was next to the one in Greensburg yesterday...figured I would stop for the hell of it... place was packed and I did not see any thing I would call a deal . and It was UP TO 30% off ..and again not on ammo or firearms.. they wanted $24.95 for a box of 45 acp..picked up the same brand/box tonight at wall-mart for $18

there are very very very few things there worth buying they are beyond unreasonable price wise when it comes to guns and ammo. I wouldnt expect that to change

Looked at kayaks which has sales price well over regular price at other vendors.

I stopped into the GM in Dickson City earlier today. Some stuff was on sale for 10% off. That's the best that I saw. Not worth the effort.

I did ask when the store was closing. The girl stated that they aren't even sure if that store is closing yet.

But when your sale prices are still higher than other place's normal price, it's probably a good idea that you go out of business.
