Re: --Oaks-- May 20&21. Two day show.
I saw a couple of women with Gluten Free shirts walking the gun show. Don't know if they were lost or were just checking things out.
I got there late, about 11:30. The parking lots were full, but the gunshow was rather empty. Nothing jumped out at me, but I got some pickles, half a case of 9mm (started carrying my G19 lately), saw Aubrey and a bunch of the usual faces. Stopped at LPRGC to use up a couple boxes of ammo.
All in all, better than washing the car or mowing the lawn.

Got there about 1:00pm. Cops had a table and some contraption to download sidearms. They were kinda surprised when I pulled out a revolver and swung the cylinder open.
Not crowded , not a great show either. I did see Federal .22LR for $25 brick/500!
Actually saw a couple guns I wanted , but didn't have any cash. Probably heading back Sunday with some trade bait , and my checkbook.I don't speak English , I talk American!

Re: --Oaks-- May 20&21. Two day show.
There has been a PS 90 in black with an extra mag or 2 and, IIRC, 500 rounds of 5.7 for sale at the last few shows. I think his asking price was something like $1400? I don't know if that's high, low, average, insane? For a not so common gun and what I imagine is hard to find ammo it doesn't sound absurdly high but I could very well be wrong.

Re: --Oaks-- May 20&21. Two day show.
I went to the show yesterday with my Dad and brother. We had a good time looking around for a few hours. I left with a beautiful Henry Big Boy .357mag that I've wanted forever. The prices on ARs were down with one table selling new Anderson Manufacturing rifles for $439 and lots of MP-15s for under $600.
I almost bought a Kel-Tec Sub-2000 one dealer had for $379 (.40S&W/Glock Mags). Most dealers were asking about $100 more for this gun so I thought this was a good deal.
The crowds were the lightest I've seen in years. It was nice to not have to park a mile away.

For that price, that 2000 might have been a first gen. Research them before buying. First gen was weak at the chamber/hinge area.

Got a S&W Liberty pistol for $325 on Saturday, best price I've seen anywhere. Tanner's had them for $329. I also got to meet ScotsGuard at one
of the tables.
