FOAC guide for my area is broken, I mean "under construction".

I do know Matt Menges is the most pro-2A judge candidate in YorkCo.

Always hate my local elections... especially township supervisors... I have NO idea what they stand for, NO idea what their platform is, have NO information sent to me via mail, email or other means, NO door to door knocks. I literally know nothing about the candidates other than word of mouth. No facebook pages, no local newspaper articles... nothing...

That is contrary to everything I normally vote on.

I vote for what/whom I can, when I can, but I can't in all good conscience and beliefs vote for someone I know nothing about. I hate it.

I scan the local paper online for any interviews and look for the word "Constitution" in their statements. It helped me pick a few locals this morning. I also do not vote for any that I don't know/can't be prepared for. That's dangerous, especially with the cross-filing crap you see in local and school board elections.

I absolutely hate the school board candidates, wrote myself in.

Anyone willing to run for an unpaid elected position has my vote. A thankless job at times. And at local levels, especially when a borough's population is under 1,000, do political parties and campaign platform/promises mean anything?

OCed while voting today with my wife (not that I have to, but I do it out of principle). Comments? Stares? Hah! Nothing. Three-thirty in the afternoon and we were voters nos. 37 & 38.

Oh, no constable on duty to keep the peace.

Well, if it's anything like here, it's probably because they're essentially uncontested, they don't feel the need to put any effort into it. Several spots on my ballot had "Vote for not more than X" and I think in each case, there were X or less choices.....

Works now. Used it this morning along with a little more online research.

Harrisburg, Lancaster and York could all have new mayors soon. That would be progress. Lancaster definitely will since Gray retired. Bracey desperately needs to be replaced. I like her challenger, Helfrich...despite being a Democrat he sounds very reasonable...talking about actually addressing crime and lowering taxes.

Can't vote for any of those races though, just have to sit back and hope the city residents get a collective brain this time around.
