Judgeship Elections in May.
Looks like a lot of judges are up for election in May. Does anyone have any information on the respective candidate's positions on Second Amendment rights?

Re: Judgeship Elections in May.
Now that you've asked I've started looking. One of my classmates is up for election and I'm not finding anything on what he stands for. He's on the Democratic ticket so I have an ideal of what he might think but I'd like to see it in his campaign. What effects would a Superior Court Judge have on our 2A rights? I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to what they can do. I do not think that they write law.

Re: Judgeship Elections in May.
Yep, which is why they are so important. Also, with anti-Constitution municipalities defying current pre-emption laws, we do not need more leftist Judges approving this unlawful municipal conduct. Even in County Judge races, their could be a similar issue. Plus, these judgeship positions provide a platform for lawyers looking to move up the judicial food chain or as platforms for launching efforts for Statewide political offices. That is why I am curious about the Wayne County election. I could find no information about their 2A rights positions.

Re: Judgeship Elections in May.
Another election in which one is disenfranchised if they choose to not march with either the "D" herd or the "R" herd...
It'd be nice if the rest of us could have a say.
Apparently primary candidates can register with either or both herds.
Seems a bit off to me, but the whole system needs a low-level reformat and reboot anyway, IMO.
