Local Sporting Clays Shooting
Just letting anyone know in the area who may wish to come out for a little shotgun sports action......
Starview Sportsmen Association in Mount Wolf is open to the public on Sundays from 9AM to 2PM for Sporting Clays. Cost is $9 for a course of 50 birds. ($8 for members) The only thing you need is a shotgun and a couple of boxes of shells!
For those who have thought about sporting clays but have never given it a try, make the trip to Starview and I am sure you will enjoy it! Open every Sunday morning.
Anyone who may be interested and need directions or have some questions, I would be more than happy to answer any and all!

Re: Local Sporting Clays Shooting
Last Sunday, March 4th I was shooting at Starview. The setup and the people there are really great. Not only sporting clays are big fun, this is the best preparation for a successful hunt with the shotgun. I always thought I will have to drive for hours to find a place like this. I will definatly spend more of my Sunday mornings shooting at Starview.

Re: Local Sporting Clays Shooting
So it is you guys at the Starview Sportsmen Association that are making all that noise.... If you heard other shots this past Saturday & Sunday you don't need to worry... It was just us.... The club is just up the creek from us... If you know where the furnace is at then you are at our place..

Re: Local Sporting Clays Shooting
Oh, this is awesome info! Thanks.
I've not shot Sporting Clays since I lived in lower Bucks Co. (where I grew up). Even at that we had to cross the river into NJ. I'll have to be checking this place out come Spring. Maybe get my 16 year old son into it. He took the NRA shotgun class in Carlisle a summer or two ago.

Re: Local Sporting Clays Shooting
It's a shame that their membership is closed right now. I would like to become a member. I always liked to pitch in when I could at my sportsmans club back home. A small price to pay for a great facility to use! Perhaps I will take advantage of the Sunday clay shoot sometime anyway though! Thanks JohnUSCG!

Re: Local Sporting Clays Shooting
Judging by the pictures on the Starview website, this is a fantastic facility! I will try and come by and visit during your open to the public time on Sundays from 9 AM to 2 PM.
