Re: holster recommendation
Tucker Gun Leather or R Grizzle Leather. Excellent product, but be prepared to wait.

Re: holster recommendation
I like Galco leather holsters.
I always stressed to my son"one shot one kill that was all that is needed". When He came home from Marine Corp Boot camp He was telling me about the Marines stressing "ONE SHOT ONE KILL" He looks at me and the light bulb went on Dad was now a whole lot smarter than he was 13 weeks ago.

Re: holster recommendation
Take a look at DM Bullard. I bought a holster from them about 4 years ago. I carry a Sig 938 and it is the most comfortable holster I have ever worn. Tucker and Grizzle have great reviews, I just haven't
worn any of their products. As a point of reference, I'm 65 and have worn many holsters.

Re: holster recommendation
I have a kydex OWB holster for a full-size 40-caliber Smith from Alien Ware that I'm happy with. Comfortable, well made and good, adjustable retention. I'm also a fan of Foxx holsters, have IWB holsters from them and Alien Gear.

Re: holster recommendation
Answer a question maybe we can help you better.
- Leather or Kydex or hybrid of the two?
I've used all three styles but for IWB only. COMP TAC brand, DeSantis, Hidden Hybrid Holsters, Vigillance Tactical.

Re: holster recommendation
Mitch Rosen Express Line, I have not tried their full detail line yet.
Or Comp-Tac Flatline for Kydex, comes with OWB & IWB clips.
Tried many OWB leather holsters in the past, to name a few, Desantis, Galco, Don Hume, Stoner and Winthrop. None of them keep the retention over time as well as the Mitch Rosen Holsters. Other leather holsters I mentioned were in the $40 - $60 range, the Mitch Rosen Express Line Holsters are about $75. My oldest Mitch Rosen is about 3 years old but still as good as new with the retention and the finish.
