Default Glock magazine release spring options?

Are there any companies that sell a stiffer spring for the magazine release button on Glocks? I want the button to be harder to push when releasing the magazine.

Never saw an extra power one. The OE spring is just a piece of flat spring steel. Put it in a vice, use an adjustable wrench and bend the spring. This will increase the pressure on the button. Get extras to fine tune to what you want.

Another option is to buy prehardened spring steel stock the same width but a little thicker and cut it to length. Place like McMaster sell the material.

I am interested to find out WHY you would want to do this. Do you currently have an over-sized one that is inadvertently pressed by a holster or your grip? Or do you simply want it to be more difficult to depress.

This is my question. I don't (won't) have a Glock, but I have considered cutting a coil out of the mag release spring on my 1911 to lighten it a *hair* from where it is.

I can't imagine anything other than a regular malfunction prompting me to make it stiffer...

    My 2¢
    YMMV
    etc...

Both, I have the extended one because it came in the color I wanted. I have large and quite strong hands so a little extra tension would feel better.

Unless I can find a standard length magazine catch in gold, a stronger spring looks like a good option.

Here's a suggestion. I don't know if it works. Extended mag springs are longer. Maybe it can substitute?

#2 guess: stretch the old one?

It is really elementary stuff. There are 3 dimensions on the spring. Thickness, width and length. You want the same width and length as the original spring but slightly thicker.(+.004-+.005" should do)
