Re: Springfield Armory & Rock River Arms SOLD US OUT!
I don’t see how a current owner selling a M1A or any other of their products is going to hurt the company. If a current owner does sell a Springfield firearm because of what the company did, the new owners might want more magazines and other accessories that may potentially give Springfield more business.

That would of course be ideal but I'd bet it was an easier move for Magpul than it would be for SA.
I don't understand why gun companies would stay in red commie states like NJ, MA, CT, and IL to begin with.
BTW, how many here still buy S&W and Colts, and what twisted logic do you use to justify it?

I'll buy any Springfield or RRA guns for $1. It will cost me more than that to dispose of them properly.
Any vote for a third party is a vote for a Democrat. You are the enemy.

If you want better laws elect better politicitions.
And I don't mean perfect politicitions, just better.

Except it was NOT going to pass regardless. They gave the cover it needed to pass. Besides, even if it was, then you move your company. The end goal of the people writing this type of legislation is to put your company out of business. Throwing your customers under the bus to sort of (but not really) protect your employees and business is a lose-lose game. You'll lose your business either because customers hate your company or because the anti-gunners put you out of business.

There have been plenty of sources besides them:
http://illinoiscarry.com/forum/index...c=65557&page=3
https://www.nraila.org/articles/2017...bills-tomorrow
http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_1_5/198...ge=5#i65825354 (swanhunter is heavily involved in the IL gun law scene)
And also based on Springfield's non-denial statement, it seems true.
