It would be a good grouse gun. Especially from the front seat of a station wagon

    "Firearm." So NO.

Are there any plans to issue these in 20ga?

    That's more my speed.

Looks like an indoor gun and I wouldn't want to listen to a 12ga blast indoors without ear protection which I don't wear to bed.

They only provided instruction on doing so with a Mossberg. The overall length had a lot to do with it. Also, you need to start with a shotgun that never once ever had a buttstock on it. So if you have a factory PGO 870... I suppose it's possible but I'm not a lawyer.

I have the same grip on my Mossberg "Combo 500" that I bought many years ago. I purchased the grip last year, and man what a difference it makes. Mine is 18.5 inch barrel, so the restrictions don't apply. I couldn't fire the pistol grip version more than 2 shots without making my wrist scream. The birds head grip is awesome.

Was it registered a pistol (if possible) when mfg? I want to make one but mine have stocks.
OAL would be 26 and 1/16th long just to be safe.
