SxS recommendation?

Looking to build a Double barrel side by side 12 gauge sbs. I don't want to destroy any thing of value or special. What brand and model of sxs should I look. Double barrel no hammer's

Anything that you can still get parts for if things break. Don't want to spend the time and money to stamp a shotgun and find that you cant get a hammer spring or sear spring.
Stevens 311 seem to be the most popular, or Fox/Stevens models.
I've done a few Stevens and a couple Rossi side x sides.

The more I look I think a 20 gauge might be a better option. So my search for a Stevens 311 20 gauge is on.

Good choice
I have a 311 in 20ga chopped to 10" and cut the stock to a pistol grip and plugged to bolt hole with left over butt stock wood.
I need to drill it out, right hammer spring or sear spring is broken.

So I had a moment off weakness and bought a used stoeger 20 gauge coach gun for $225.00 off of Armslist. I am going to try and do one out of these.
