Re: Springfield XDE
I'd like to try it... You don't see too many DA/SA hammer fired polymer framed single stacks. I'm not much of a striker fired guy.

Re: Springfield XDE
I like hammer fired guns, so I am waiting to see one in the flesh. Seems like some good concepts in what I have read/seen on line.

Re: Springfield XDE
I like XD's.
I like hammer guns.
I don't like decockers.
I'm interested in checking it out. I don't think I'll be getting one, I probably have enough 9mm pistols.

I saw a YouTube video of it from the NRA show. The trigger reset is too long.

Springfield sold out 2A in Illinois like Smith & Wesson did for America years ago. Boycott!

Re: Springfield XDE
Its looks like Springfield is doing everything it can to stay relevant. Last two months ago they released the Saint AR 15 rifle. The have been advertising it heavily since then even though the markets been flooded with various types of ARs for years. It appears that they noted the flood of striker fired handguns and decided to make a hammer fired version of their XD. Walther already beat them to this when they came out with the Creed. It looks like the gun industry is getting desperate for new ideas.

Re: Springfield XDE
I was looking for this a few years ago. A light, concealable Double/Single with a decocker. I tried a Bersa Thunder UC pro, but it was heavy & the trigger reach in double action was too far for me. A CZ Rami was another option but I never saw one in person & they're not cheap. I ended up going to the dark side & got a Glock 26.
Tact is just not saying true stuff. I'll pass.
