I am not a lawyer, but I disagree.
Truth About Guns is who started that opinion I believe, I wonder what SB Tactical is paying them.

The ATF letter uses generic terms, it doesn't state "your product" or address SB Tactical Braces by name.
The first paragraph says that "the open letter makes it clear that stabilizing braces are perfectly legal accessories for large handguns or pistols"
The ATF never seems to say they are only addressing that particular brand.

Would be interesting to see a legal expert opine on it.

Thread should have been in the General section IMO, the braces are not NFA items...

Wow another letter, for what those braces cost just spend the 200.00 and put whatever stock you want on it.

I don't care one way or the other.
I'd prefer to not be made a criminal simply based on the way I hold a gun, but so long as they don't deem them to be illegal to own, I can live with it.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

I don't see what the big deal is. I can run my AR pistol fine with just a cheek weld. It's not like there's a lot of recoil or I'm trying to shoot 1-2 MOA groups at 100 yards. If you want a SBR then pay the tax and put a stock on it.
    Toujours prêt

For my next wish Mr Trump, let's talk about vertical grips. I heart Trump.

Or Trump could just end the stupid nfa rules. Oh and the tax is just a small part of it and you know that.

This idea isn't very original. The SPAS 12 shotgun had the hook under the forearm support for the shotgun so it can be fired by one hand back in the eighties.
