One handgun suggestions
If you could only have one handgun for both carry and range time for $300 or less, what would it be?

Re: One handgun suggestions
It would be digging up a few extra bucks and buying something that was reliable and worth having.

Re: One handgun suggestions
my p11 is reliable but not fun to shoot.
my wife's sr22 is fun to shoot but not reliable (for carry)
i'd suggest something full framed to absorb some recoil and provide accuracy over distance. and something not a hipoint for reliability :P
what would i buy? probably a springfield XD because they catch my eye but that is conceal-ability and price aside.
that being said. save up and start fingering pistols until you find one that fits "you"
Edit: range rental is your friend. find one that is fun to shoot and most will be name brand things that are reliable. There is no way to make it out alive...

One of the Ruger P-series pistols. Not the best for carry, but my P85 comes out with me regularly enough.

Well , my Para Expert Lightweight Commander was $325 after rebate , and has proven extremely reliable and accurate.
I recently passed on a LNIB S&W model 59 , nickel , for $299.
And ya can still find a S&W Model 10 for under $300.I don't speak English , I talk American!
