I don't think you can carry at a Presidential event, unless you don't plan to go inside.

I don't believe the Secret Service would take to kindly to any one carrying around the President of the United States.
I would make sure it would even be allowed out side or find out what the radius would be.
The Secret Service doesn't understand that most of us would protect them so they can protect the POTUS.
