One could make the case that in such a scenario, the open trigger holster is safer, since there is no leather to push your finger into the trigger if you were to holster said cocked revolver with your finger in the trigger guard.

I used to shoot BETAs full auto at Classic Pistol near Philly (Southertown?) There would be sparks shooting sideways, bouncing off the walls of my lane, and coming back at me. On the plus side, it cleaned about 20 years of powder residue off the ceiling as it all came raining down on me. I needed a shower and change of clothes to eat a sammich. It would break up the Act 235 classes because they would all run to the range window to see what was going on. I think it was the third time I did it, they banned full auto rifle caliber within a matter of days. Yeah, I was "that guy." Sorry.

I want one of these just for how ridiculous it looks. This would be hilarious.

Do you have to detach the pistol to use it? Looks like their MIGHT be room for the slide to go back when still mounted to the rifle if it's not attached to the top.
